Traveling Flat People

Room 11's Flat Stanley Blog

Dear Students and Families,

Congratulations, you have been successful in finding this site.  Please send your teachers and classmates a message saying "hello."  Scroll down the page and leave a comment even if you don't have any information about your flat person.  When you leave a message, sign it using only your first name.

Following is information about how we decided to create and mail our own flat people.  After receiving Flat Kirsten from Texas and reading the book Flat Stanley by Jeff Brown, the students in Room 11 decided to create their own flat people.  Each student wrote a letter that will accompany his/her flat person around the world or the United States.

Our blog site was set up for all of us to keep in touch with our flat people's adventures as they travel through the mail to various parts of the world.  As you hear back from your flat person's hosts, post his/her adventures here in the comment area. Throughout the summer, check in to add to or just read the adventures.  We are looking forward to all the stories.  As you know, this blog was created to keep track of where our flat people go this summer, but you are welcome to leave other messages on other topics of interest in the comment area.

Happy summer,
Mrs. Seller and Mrs. Hardie
